I understand that holistic and integrative health approaches, such as yoga, meditation, relaxation, meditation that assist accessing intuition may include postures, rest, or physical movements and an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education, and relief of muscular tension.  As is the case with any physical movement or activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture, and ask for support from the teacher, guide, or coach. I will continue to breathe smoothly and seek the appropriate care I need.

These courses will enhance any Health Care Professionals skills who would like to bring a Mind-Body-Spirit, Prevention, and Wellness approach to Healing. Excellent for Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Nurses, Physicians, Mental Health Practitioners, Massage Therapists, Yoga Practitioners, and any one caring for others.

You will Learn:

  • Practice five meditations that can be integrated into your personal self-care and health care practices.
  • Understand three ways to induce the relaxation response and how it can lower pain, stress, anxiety, and heal all the way to the genetic level.
  • Describe how to engage in mindfulness as a meditation and during Activities of Daily Living.
