I understand that holistic and integrative health approaches, such as yoga, meditation, relaxation, meditation that assist accessing intuition may include postures, rest, or physical movements and an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education, and relief of muscular tension.  As is the case with any physical movement or activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture, and ask for support from the teacher, guide, or coach. I will continue to breathe smoothly and seek the appropriate care I need.

Integrative health, such as yoga and meditation are not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions.  I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice integrative health, including yoga and meditation. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter may have against Emmy Vadnais, OTR/L or any instructors who co-teach or co-facilitate with her.

 

I understand that the group coaching or classes will be recorded, and I give permission that all interactions of me, including audio and video, can be shared with other people who have registered for the group coaching or classes.

Positive EFT: Higher Consciousness for Mind, Body and Spirit

Description:
This class introduces healthcare practitioners to Positive Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a tool that combines acupressure, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology to promote emotional wellbeing, reduce stress, and foster resilience. Practitioners will explore Positive EFT's transformative impact for prevention recovery, learning self-care techniques, positive affirmations, and methods to support clients in diverse health and wellness areas.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand Positive EFT fundamentals and learn the principles of positive affirmations behind Positive EFT, focusing on its benefits for building emotional strength, improving self-awareness, and uplifting mental health.
2. Gain hands-on experience with Positive EFT tapping techniques using EFT tapping points, sequences, and protocols with positive affirmations to foster shifts in energy and mood.
3. Identify client applications and discover how to integrate Positive EFT into clinical practice to help patients manage anxiety, fear, stress, and pain that may build mental resilience, enhance emotional regulation, and create potential for healing in the mind, body, and spirit.
4. Practice and demonstrate proficiency through hands-on practice and exercises, participants will experience Positive EFT to ensure effective application in diverse healthcare settings for personal self-care.
5. Learn how to utilize Positive EFT in group settings and discern when it is appropriate.
